I want to build a site for hosting articles. There will be categories and submitting form with log in/ log out option. How to make a site like that ? Is there any free script available ? Please suggest.

Is there any minimum requirement for server side ? like mysql version or PHP version ? :)

www.articledashboard.com seems to be the main one.

Never used it though and there are some really rubbish sites using it (and some OK ones).

I custom wrote the scripts for www.FreeArticleHQ.com. Done in ASP with VBScript, running on Windows Server 2003 with a SQL Server backend. If you have any programming experience, you might be better off doing one yourself.

To mad4 - Will try ArticleDashboard. Thanks

To iShopHQ - I dont know ASP and VB Script, know the basics of Java, HTML and CSS. I think those wont help me to write the script.

I use Evo-Articles on several article websites. You can setup accounts for authors or even hook it into vBulletin for user/author authentication.

If you do set up a site with the Article Dashboard script, let me know. I'll add it to the submission list for Article Distributor.
