Hi - I am running Windows Vista and want to be able to capture my on-screen activity for around 3 or 4 minutes at a time for tutorial videos. I have seen loads of these online, but all seem to be shots of AppleMac users. Does anybody know what software I can get (preferably free or cheap please) that will allow me to create this kind of video? If there is a video tutorial of how to use it, even better. lol Thanks, Tony
Perfect - thanks - I will be using it for tutorials on Open Source code, so kinda fitting to use an OS video maker. Knew there would be a nugget like this out there somewhere. Thanks again
Also you can try Screen VidShot. It's not a free, but it has a trial version. I checked it long time ago.
You might also want to use ZScreen -- open source software, by the way -- from brandonz.net/projects/zscreen
Camstudio is great for a free screencapture. Of course there is one far better Camtasia Studio 5 but a bit expensive.
