    Hey,

I wanted to make a cool spoiler for my upcoming video site..
The problem is I don't have ANY idea how to make one

Can someone help me out/give me a link to a tutorial or something?

    Thank you!

    What do you mean?
With a spoiler I mean a video with parts of a serie, that has some cool music and tells you what the serie is going to be about.

you might want to call it a teaser, not spoiler :)

anyway, what kinda format do you prefer?
is it on flash or a flash video maybe (flv)?

    hmmm...
    spoiler ehh?
I'm guessing people aren't replying to this because you just need to know how to use a video editor or something of the sort. I'm assuming you mean a teaser trailer. It's not really something you're taught, I'm guessing. Just look at others and work off of that. Thats the best advice I have for you.

You are looking for a trailer / teaser, not a spoiler.

note: in general, the teaser comes out before the trailer and is just that. A teaser. They might only show the main character in some dramatic way or the logo (batman and spiderman did stuff like that)

First of all, how long is your film/ animation? If it's only a minute or two, why bother? The point of a trailer is getting people interested in seeing the film.

A good way to see how they should look is simply by watching some. HERE is a great selection. See how the pros do it and go from there.

But basically what you are looking to do is cut up your film (in your case cutting up your flash animation), taking clips and arranging them to give an idea of what the whole film is about in a short time. Usually adding some music and a title to finish it off.

If you want some inspiration, have a look on youtube for "after effects ident". AE is great for putting short clips and graphics together.

If you want a homemade spoiler. Try something like this. :p:)

what's the full name for "ae" never heard of that.
And it's just for makingsmal clips guys. Like trailers or w/e just an easy to use program to cut movies in parts and paste several parts together, and put some music over it.

    Thanks

    kerosene.... hahaha
Yeah after effects is pretty good.
But any editing software would work. There is no simple way to do it. Just put in clips and add a soundtrack. ALL editing software can that.
Most have a free trial period of some sort and most basic ones can be bought for >$100.
    Maybe check out:
    Ulead
    Pinnacle
    Windows Movie Maker
