Hi there, I would like to make a ringtone website, or better yet.. I would like someone to make a ringtone website for me cos I can't do that. But could somebody let me know which e-commerce platforms are available for running a ringtone website. On an other site it said that the e-commerce platform should support digital downloads and virtual delivery. I've been Googling for a bit and I just can't do it! So basically my questions are: 1. Do you know which e-commerce platform supports digital downloads and virtual delivery? 2. Can you make a ringtone website? Thank you!
Well, I thought this is going to be hard because Google ain't helping me out at all.. but then it hit me! (This is for anyone who was walking around with this idea too.) In order for your ringtone site to function, nothing matters if you don't have a short code. (a 5 or 6 digit number) So when I went to the official site to read more about it, they have a section that is explaining everything. From you (the content provider), to the aggregator, to the mobile services, to the end user. Anyway, building a ringtone website is the same as building a web shop. If you've found your cart, all you have to do is add content. From there you need to be registered to all the companies that take care of the following processes and you're done! Now don't think it's a wrap now, cos having a randomly chose short code will cost you $500 and a custom made $1000! PER MONTH!
