I am the author of a book. A self help book.

Its in paperback but I want to make it an e-book.

Was just wondering what the procedure was to do this. Does it involve typing the whole book out and any software?

    Thanks

you'll need software to create pdf's and then you need to type in the whole stuff or copy past it if you got a word document of the book

Please ask your publisher if he has a soft copy (typed file of your book) which he used to print it out at the first place else you can use a scanner to scan it and convert it into an ebook. You don't need to type it all over again :) if you still can't do it then you can always ask me for help :D

Thanks for the answer guys. Any ideas on how an ebook is sent to someone?
Is it in the form of a PDF?

Also, any ideas on the best ebook website you have seen? As in a site selling individual ebooks?

Yes ebooks are mostly sent in PDF format, some ebooks are in flash, chm and application format but thats not common and user friendly methods.

There are many sites where you can sell your ebook such as ebay, amazon, etc. :)
