How to make a featured article in my wordpress blog?

    Hey, my wordpress blog current theme has a space of featured article but i don't know how can i add an article in the featured area.Please tell me if anyone knows about it

    Look in the admin section for a link to the theme options, or it may be that you need to add a custom field to each featured post.
    It would really help to know what theme you are using.

    We really need to know what theme you are using. Most with "featured" sections require that you create a category named "Featured" and put your featured posts in it. Some others have setting on the back end to set which category should be displayed in the featured area.

    There is no way for us to guess which you have, or if it uses another way.

    You can make the post sticky... from the visibility option.

    install Featured Pot plugin from wordprees.org it will ease all ur work ...hope it will help u lot............

    may be reading the README file that comes with the theme will be helpful. If you don't find what to do, post your theme name here. Someone will surely help you.

    this all depends on the theme, some just use the latest sticky posts, but other require you to add the post or post id through the theme options page.

    again this all down to the theme, what theme are you using?

    Hi you can use dynamic content gallery which is quite good and supports all version and most important part that it doesn't conflict with jquery with other plug-in or theme.

    I use featuredcontentgallery.com for my featured posts and it can be used with most templates. Make your blog stand out!
