Specific techniques aside, I think there are many members here making very little off adsense for whom some of the ideas discussed here are valuable: 1) Stop thinking about the negatives and start doing. Look for a niche and an approach that works for you and your skills. If you really can't find a way to get your site to more than $5/day and your goal really is to make money with your site, its time to take step back and re-think what you're doing and make a course correction. 2) It's a numbers game. Links, pages, sites, visitors, conversions, etc. People should be constantly reviewing their numbers, understanding how they relate (different for every type of site), and focusing on the numbers that really matter in terms of meeting your individual goals. 3) Above all else, constantly be experimenting with new ideas and new approaches. Keep the creative juices and energy flowing and something will eventually hit. As to using blog spamming specifically, that's a decision for each webmaster to make - although I don't do it, I don't treat the web as sacred and don't look down on those that wander into the dark/black areas. Losing an adsense account is always a possibility. But, you are within the TOS to start different companies with an adsense account for each company. That's a whole different conversation and I believe a long thread started by shoemoney has some valuable info on those issues. As soon as creativ came in with a link to his own (barely traffic'ed) site which required registration to view the link, I have to admit my BS alarm went off. But, the details of his approach have merit, if you can stomach it.
Looks great.. More praise after i implement and get the results and if it really does yield wohoooo .. 1 site a day for 6 weeks =42 sites Each site yield say $5/day = 5*42=$210/day And frankly saying who would stop at just 42 sites
I wish it was that easy... I have just 1 domain that gets about 2000 visitors a day. Instead of buying more domains, I create pages on the root directory and try to get traffic to those pages.. I have been successful lately, and these pages do just more than $1/day. If I come up with 100 pages that are unique within the industry, I may be doing ok. But again, easier said than done... I own a few other domains that get great traffic, but the clicks are about .03 each... take me over 150 clicks to get 5.00 I'm not saying it cant be done by any means though... Good luck to you... if I had more than 30 minutes a day to apply to my sites, I would work on content...
Well, it WAS a brand new Yahoo group that I'd JUST setup for the pics - it's not a money site, not is it supposed to be! No matter, I appreciate the feedback. Anyway, all, it was fun - I'll see y'all around...
Why waste your time creating a real website with legitimate content and building a community... Just snag some public domain content and go sit by the pool!
Why would any webmaster making 500k a year have to set up a yahoo group to distribute information? Or is that another one of your tips?
Why is it so hard to believe? I know someone who makes 400-600/day from adsense, just by having many sites. If that's possible, why isn't $2000+?
There's some good merits in there as well as bad, but it's the way creativ come off. It's like douche, wash, repeat.
OK, you convinced me, I took action. Since I dislike the technique you describe so much I just launched FightSplog.com - Take action against Spam Blogs.
I read the entire thread, so I guess I'm one of those "people that don't make money as they never actually take action" --- Aside from this guys' ego problems, he has some nice posts. The way some reply to him is actually more offending than what he is suggesting. I don't see anything in creativ's posts that equates to spamming this board, as these tactics are all new to me, and I don't see anything he is trying to sell, except a ridicoulous 25% profit service, which I hope nobody takes seriously. It definately doesn't hurt to read new ideas, so I appreciate the thread, and I think I might try a few of the suggestions on a new site.
tlainevool, So far I have identified more than 500 splogs just in blogger.com. Obviously spamming a blog to manipulate search engine results and create traffic is in violation of AdSense TOS and I intend to report this fraud one by one. I will post my progress on a website... Stay tuned...
meh too much effort, i'd rather concentrate on making one quality website with a bit of credit behind it.
Well after a long thinking i changed my mind now regarding implementation of this notorious technique. I was pretty raring to go after reading the post at first but after anaylizing the consequences it is just a simple way to get your self banned. We need to keep google clean in order to make a steady income from it for the long run. I stronly believe he initiated the thread to sell his spamming weapons to the masses. If he was making good money from it he won't discloss it to public to get things messed again resulting another google update and income reductions. I am a newbie here like many others who is't making significant bread so far but we should believe its a slow and steady game and the output is very prolific. So any nasty action like this could get us all in some kinda dilemma.
Do bee'have yourself and keep your jelousy and short-comings to yourself, or throw yourself off a cliff, eh? What do you define 'spamming' a blog? That's very subjective. If I post 50 articles/day to a blog to drive traffic to a site, is that a violation in your delusion? We all manipulate search engines rankings to a degree. Really, what do you define as spamming a blog, you plonker? - Posting lots of unique articles to a blog to drive traffic and increase search rankings, as many LEGITIMATE AdSense publishers do? - Posting lots of articles sourced from article banks LEGITIMATELY to a blog to LEGITIMATELY drive traffic to a site for LEGITIMATE traffic and the same 'manipulation' in search rankings you talk of - Posting METHSLOSOMENIA, METHSLOSOMENIA, METHSLOSOMENIA, METHSLOSOMENIA, METHSLOSOMENIA, METHSLOSOMENIA with no content What is your definition of this spam blogging, you berk? Quit it. You may be gratifying your own frustrated sexual desires. Asides from that, I don't know what you're trying to achieve but to make a complete fool of yourself. Reporting 'sblogs' to Google. Sheesh. Who are you to say what's a violation or not? Keep your nose out there's plently of people utilizing blogs - I aren't one of them - to drive traffic and create link popularity and increased rankings. What's your beef with it? Heebyjeebies.. can't you just download porn and masturbate like the rest of us without involving yourself in other peoples business and 'reporting' anyone you deem to be breaching policy in your world. It's none of your business! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE YOU'RE REPORTING? GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE, BECAUSE I BET A POUND TO A PIECE OF .. SALT .. THAT YOU'RE REPORTING 'CLEAN' PUBLISHERS JUST FOR YOUR OWN GRATIFICATION. If you're a troll you're a ******* good one 'cos you've got me. Pete
