Have you noticed any major changes in visit/unique visit/clicks or any thing else after removing one code from website??
I agree with khemraj. It may be possibility that your placed code/setting was not correct that is why google was not showing you complete data (like bounce rate).
Hope except bounce rate you have noticed any other major change.
    Please share the details.

You are right. Can you please elaborate why this "Bounce rate" increased from 2-4% to 75% without doing any changes in website.. What should be the reason while removing one GA code?
Please share with us as well.

Bounce rate is completely different and code doesn't affect your bounce rate. To reduce bounce rate make your web page with enough useful content.
    Focus only targeted people.
    Avoid 404 error page
Make people to engage in your site like sharing
    Reduce loading time
    provide them search box

If you want to reduce the bounce rate then just create one fb page which shows the best posts.... so that more viewers visit your website, and stay there....

All you need to do is to create interesting videos to keep the visitors on your site.
These videos will be interesting, inspiring, informative and to the point, so your users will like them and will find the added value from them. Dont forget that you can also get new traffic with these videos and this is another advantage. You can check the buytrafficguide for "What kind of videos will help with the effort of getting traffic to our website?" and make it more professional.

    Good luck.

Bounce rates is used to determine the performance or effectiveness of an entry page at generating the interest of visitors. Lower bounce rate is the longer time your potential subscribers or customers will be sticking on your website.

Okay, a few basic tips to lower your bounce rate:

Lower Load Time (This is a big one).
Make sure your page is telling your visitors what they are looking for.
Take a look at your site as a whole, see what pages have less bounce in % and which have more. Then change all of your pages to function as those with less bounce % do.
Check your traffic sources and make sure you aren't getting garbage traffic from bots and the like.
Take a look at your site in a few different browsers, make sure you don't have compatibility issues.
Make sure that you make your points apparent "above the fold", so that users don't have to scroll down to figure out what the page is about.

Keep analyzing based on those criterion and you'll get your bounce rates down.

The main reason behind increase in Bounce rate is Navigation Structure is not proper or lack of information users are looking for. Creative design is also plays an important role in Bounce rate....
