The absolute best way to loose weight is to straight up sweat. Get hot, get heavy, and get dirty. You should not even feel warmed up until sweat is pouring off of your head. When that has happened, and your heart is beating quickly, you are warmed up... then keep it going!!

I may recomend a package handling job, distribution center etc. UPS, FedEX, any distribution center. Ask to work in the unload section of the center. That made me loose my weight to about 165 pounds and I eat all the time. It is impossible for me to gain weight right now. My girl lost 25 pounds in the first month and a half of working their.

That's it right there. Plain and simple. If you're not dripping sweat, you're not playing hard enough.

If you can find some kind of activity that makes you happy, that makes you collapse at the end of it - then you'll lose weight without having to think about it. Then you'll get into the healthy vicious cycle of wanting to do it more.

Two ways I get excerise without thinking is by 'aimlessly' riding my bike, and by driving somewhere nice and going for a walk with my camera. If you're doing something you like, you don't realize you're getting excercise.

Excercise before you eat in the morning, make sure you go to bed hungry.

    GRIM,

Do you mind giving a rough estimate or your diet. I am out of ideas of what to eat, I am sick of chicken and tuna and my timing is terrible now a days because of too much online stuff and less focus on gains at gym and diet.

I hope you have a diet plan or something saved you can show if you care to help :) Thanks

I lost some weight recently, about a stone and a half so far. One thing that helped was to exercise every single day, usually at the same time. Around midday works best for me, because that's when my concentration on mental tasks is starting to drop off. It's important to make it a habit of it and do at least a little every day, rather than just two or three times a week.

Now if I miss a workout, I start to get annoyed and fidgety, as though my body is actually craving the exercise.

I eat extremely high protein, not as a high protein level but I try to get 1.5grams + of protein per pound a day.

My diet is no where near as good as when I lost my weight, however to maintain it might go something like this.

Breakfast I have a cereal I buy which is 15 grams of protein per serving, I'll have 2 servings, or 2 servings of standard oatmeal. Some days I mght have a high protein bagel as well.

I will have several small meals and snacks throughout the day, these will usually be a banana, apple, pear, protein bar, or possibly high protein pudding 'instand fat free pudding, skim milk, 2 scoops protein powder and 2 tablespoons peanut butter'

Lunch will usually be a Turkey or Chicken sandwich or something similiar. I buy the lowest fat meat possible, whole weat bread of course. The bread I buy is high in protein and only 35 calories a slice, most breads are 50-100 per slice!

Dinner will be something such as a chicken breast, or a nice tenderloin steak :p Sweet potato, steamed veggies, etc.

There are lots of foods you can work into your diet, bring the quantities down. Or you'd even surprised on what changing to fat free butter can save you calorie wise, alot of the toppings are calorie filled fatness :D

    Hi,

Thanks GRIM. Thats pretty helpful. Good advice on the 35cal bread, never knew there was such a thing, going to try and find it. Same with protien pudding. I actually buy yogurt, low carb high protein.

I am actually not trying to loose weight but rather maintain and slowly cut but I need a more steady diet and working on one now.

The protein bread I hope to find tomorrow at the market, hopefully this protien pudding too

Any other foods like that can you recommenced that I might not know about.

Wow I have to stop typing when I just wake up :D :p

The brand of bread I usually buy is called 'Healthy Life'

Watch what yogurt you buy, fat frees can be over 200 calories a serving. The stuff I buy is 80 calories, made by Dannon.

Rotisserie Chicken is a great dinner option, stir frys made correctly w/o much oil, steaming salmon and veggies ;)

Chances are that you're really eating more than you think you are calorie-wise. Most people severely underestimate calorie intake. Also, you say you don't eat much... if that means you're skipping meals, then you need to stop that first. You'll screw up your metabolism that way, and actually make it harder, rather than easier, to lose weight in the long run. :)

Very true! Recording how much one eats for a week might be a shock...

Volume does not equate to calories unfortunatelly...:(

This is a very helpful list of advice, indeed.

I was wondering, are there any recommended fiber supplements out there that have no Calorie content, but still don't taste worse than cardboard and seaweed wrapped rice cakes put together?
