    If you have PR that means its indexed. For faster indexing you can submit pages to high traffic sites like digg etc.

    in google, search site:http://yousite.com and see whether google indexed your site. If it does not indexed your site, there will be no result.

    You can use revisit Meta Tag in your website of Head section. And of course you have to submit your website in High PR social networking websites.

    i think u have purchased a dropped website. This might be a big problem . try to get it indexed by using differnt methods else your PR will melt away soon

    u have problem of url redirect of non www to www so when u check your site with www it show diff page index and without www show diff. so u need to redirect url when some one type without www

    get a free online site map generator such as http://www.xml-sitemaps.com - generate a sitemap.xml file, sign up for google web tools, add your site info and then let google know where your sitemap.xml is
