How to legally setup multiple Adsense accounts ...

    Hello everyone,
    My name is Jonathan.
(Note, I started a similar thread at WW but would like DP input as well!)

Recently, I have decided that it would be a good idea to
create several Adsense accounts. Now, before you scream
at me, I did take the time to read many previous threads
    on this exact issue ...

It seems that it is against the rules to have more than
one account, but in *certain* situations, it is allowed.

I would like to hear from those people that have two or
more accounts - that they specifically setup (with Google
acknowledgement). Please don't post if you simply setup
a couple of accounts way back, and are yet to be busted.

Also, please don't throw in the obligatory "why do you
need two accounts anyway" style post. I, and many other
webmasters have their reasons. I would like to start a
solid discussion on the matter if possible, and perhaps
even seek clarification from Google staff members once
    things are considered.

My previous research seems to suggest that if you have
two or more seperate legal entities (ie companies), it
is an appropriate difference to allow such a situation.
    What are your thoughts?

    Thanks for your time.

    Cheers,
    Jonathan
P.S. - I don't have multiple accounts. But, I would if Google allowed me.

Every corporation or LLC has its own tax id and files its own taxes. They are as real and distinct as if they were individuals. Even if ownership is the same, they are not the same entity and therefore can each have their own account.

There wouldn't be much point to having a corporation if it didn't stand on its own.

I suggest you contact Adsense directly and they will be more than happy to tell you how you can have more than 1 account.

I know they did for me. Of course it might be useful if you explain your reasons and motivations for wanting to do it, and then they may tell you it is not necessary or provide you some other options.

I have my own set of problem.

See i have got my own google account. My cousin wants an account in his name for his business website. But the thing is that website is handled by me. So any codes or maintainence is under me. So it is legal to have his account differently which would be indirectly handled by me. The entities are different but maintained by same person.

Is it inside the TOS of google.

    Regards,

    Admans.

That should not be a problem.. You are just managing his account.

As always, though, I would recommend contacting google. The reality is issues with accounts that cross the lines are probably likely to get you in trouble. So it is always wise to ask and get clarification before moving ahead.
