How to learn to create a web site?

    Dun use these software, you won't learn like that.
    Start learning HTML and CSS, and only use notpad++.

    You can also use Wordpress to create websites. There are many free templates.

    Start with wordpress or blogger
    learn standard HTML and CSS first ( i recommend w3schools.com )
    after HTML and CSS, learn standard PHP ( if you are using wordpress )
    as long as you can understand the language, it's already good

    but, i am wondering why you asked this question, as you have SEO company link on your signature

    Hi,

    Have two ways to create a website by yourself
    1. Using some open source ex Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla ...
    2. Coding it
    - Learn HTML, XHTML, CSS to create client site
    - Learn server site language ex PHP, ASP.NET, Java

    When I first started designing, the first thing I learned was html/css, etc. I used htmlgoodies.com to learn all the basics and went from there.

    Yeah, it good for newbie to start to develop website by coding. But we also create website easier than using open source. It simple, easy and quick.

    Btw, if you want to develop website by yourself you should start with html/css and one of server side platform (PHP, Java, .NET). You can manage development progress, requirements, graphic design and coding, customize by your mind.

    If you're a newbie, you can use the Wordpress. Start with the tutorials. Create templates. Edit some html tags and alt tags. And, optimize its content.
