You can search e-book about photoshop ( there a lot free e-book about photoshop ), don't forget, more important is always try, its useless if you learning, but not doing,, ahh... also don't always copy other design, that makes your design ability not increase ( just know tool function, but don't know how to creativity ) #just experience
The best way is to try, make errors, fix it and learn. Take a simple tutorial from YouTube. Say, how to make a button. All you need to do is try it and you will learn a handful of tools. Go ahead with tougher tutorials and get used to it.
Yes, youtube is the easiest way to learn. Or you could download in depth tutorials from torrent sites. Or if you have a specific task i could download the tutorial for you and share it here. (I will need to check the rules regarding downloads)
Go to YouTube and type in "Photoshop tutorial", then you download the free trial version of Photoshop and follow the tutorials.
While Photoshop is a powerful tool for image editing, it should NOT be used as a design tool! -- that's not what it's for no matter how many artsy fartsy types might try to claim otherwise either out of ignorance, or just outright trying to scam people with 'designs' that are all flash, and no substance. The vast majority of people who sleaze out PSD's and have the giant pair of brass to call themselves "designers" usually don't know enough about HTML, CSS, accessibility, or user interface design to be designing jack **** for anyone. This is even more true now that responsive layout is a significant factor in design, as you're not going to draw meaningful pictures in a pixel-pusher that can be easily turned into a semi-fluid elastic responsive layout! You want to learn Photoshop as a image editing tool, fine -- google a few tutorials as suggested. You want to learn it as a web design tool, do the world a favor and DON'T -- it's a bunch of halfwit back-assward "cart before the horse" bullshit that results in websites that no matter how pretty they are, are ultimately useless to visitors and more likely to drive visitors away and waste bandwidth on nothing, than it is to generate legitimate traffic. No matter how many of the sleazy scam artists and ignorant halfwits at template whorehouses like ThemeForest and TemplateMonster tell you otherwise. Which is why I question what this thread is even doing in HTML/design!
