This has worked for me in the past while using music or tv show clips in my campaigns that would normally be considered "copyright Infringement" by Youtube. What you need to do is add this disclaimer to the description of your video and Youtube will usually leave you alone. *Disclaimer - Section 107 of Copyright Act 1976, Allowance made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, new reporting, teaching... Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Hopefully this will help some of you that want to use music or video clips in your Youtube campaigns but are afraid Youtube will delete your video. Enjoy
In legal terms fair use is defined as for comments and criticism. What is the point of Youtube after getting content to its users? (comments and criticism ) Now I'm not saying this will work if you straight up steal a tv show and post the whole thing on Youtube, that's not this disclaimers intended use. This is for your marketing campaigns as opposed to finding a way to break the law through a loophole.
