How to know what you are being penalized for?

    I think one of my sites are being penalized. It has dropped from page 1 to page 7. If my site is penalized then how can I find the actual problem? I have been working on my site following Google's guidelines but I did acquire a few NON PAID sitewide links. I think that could be it but then again, I may also be wrong? How can I really know?

    I don't think you can know that for sure.

    How do u know your site is being penalized? You can't search your site in Google? or u have zero pagerank?

    You can go to the supplemental, and not get a PR 0 and still be indexed as a penalty (who knows it is Google)

    If it's not a temperory thing, then you just have to guess until you get your ranking back up.

    what is your web site url? google is allways playing with the seo rules. because of this, serp is allways changing. you must get all types of backlinks to avoid from serp position changing
