How to know traffic stats from Search engines?

    Can some one please answer ,where can i see the number hits from search engines in awstats of my site?

    The summary statistics page has a robot and spiders visitors section.

    I prefer to use google analytics.

    Use google analytics, I've found that awstats is usually way off.

    near the bottom of the page :rolleyes: ,but...
    awstats SE stats shows you every time your link was shown in the search engines,not how many times your link was clicked.

    What is the exact meaning of your question? You mean visits of search engine robots or traffic form different engines?

    Google Analytics can do this for you however
    you can also check your control panel and you
    have awstats there. =]

    Awstats & Google Analytic are not showing same. Though you can use awstats for tracking visits through various sources
