my question is ... my blog if searched using a blog post title ... on Google... may or may not be getting listed in the search results but even if it is then sure enough it is not in the first 2-3 pages of results, so is there a way of finding out how far back it lies.... for example one of my blog posts' title is "Freelancing tips for beginners" .. if I put that in G search can I hope to see my blog as one of the results even if it lies on the 100th page :D

If you have your blog's home page listed in the search, I guess all the pages would be indexed too. To know whether a specific post is listed or not, try search with "Post Title"+"blog URL" so you must get lesser results with the post in the first position.

If you want to know "how far back it lies", then I guess its not possible.

Well, dmssrinivas, that works, but not for what he needs. confused needs to know how far back his certain page is for a certain search term, and the only way I know for that is to click through and find it. Food luck with that by the way.

It sounds like you are looking for a keyword position checker - here is one (google for this phrase - I can't post links yet).
