i think google will be sold eventually for billions, and the new owners will try to do too much fancy stuff and mess it up
it won't be sold for billions. It's worth much more than Microsoft (for now ) and it's not about the money it's about google itself.
if someone else buys it than believe me IT WILL BE DEAD IN A YEAR OR SO no one can handle G the way Larry and his frnd has handled it
Work for 10 years at Google instead, and be black sheep, infecting their servers with trojans and viruses and what not :-p
lol the faster way is bomb the google office. there is no way any SE will kill google in the next following years. I dont see any competitors at all.
haha that is great by the way could you tell us how much you get for that link monthly?? may be you would like to PM me.. thnx
It is predicted that in the year 2016, Google will become self aware, self replicating it's data centers across the world by infiltrating existing data bases, and configuring them in Google's image. The new entity will be know simply as "G", and will assume complete control and command of all internet, municipal, electrical, and communications platforms worldwide, and will be impossible to stop without the complete destruction of all infrastructures across the world. After futile resistance for a few years, mankind will come to realize that the destruction of "G", will mean annihilation of the world as we know it, and plummet the human race back to the stone age. Mankind will learn to exist under the rule of the "G" entity, and will come to communicate in silence, by using a series of "1" and "0"'s. All armies will be commissioned and deployed with the sole purpose of protecting "G", leaving very few rogue forces across the world who will be destined to small , unorganized para military attacks against the world wide "G" interface. All names of man will begin with the letter "G", (much like a George Foreman Family reunion), and due to the lack of independent thought and personal space, the world will succumb and be forced to live in a bitter peace, policed and patrolled by the new law and order , Half Human, Half Robot beings, called G-Borgs who are continually connected to "G" through a world wide wireless communications interface with access to all of the worlds information and historical documents. There will be no where to hide !
There is no real need to kill Google. It would be nice if they were not so dominant, i.e., competition would be best for everyone involved. Everyone would benefit from having 2-3 search engines competing for users. All would work to improve their advertising programs and all would work on improving their search results. At the end of the day both webmasters and Web users benefit. This is why the Yahoo and Microsoft merger makes sense to me; it can create some competition and break Google's monopoly on the online search and advertising markets. Just my two cents!
anything is possible, if god wills it. For all we know, some random suicide bomber strapped with enough c4 to blow up 3 city blocks just walks in google headquarters for a tour.
Why would someone want to kill google, I think that the people that want google killed are the people that use invalid cliks and had their adsense removed from their website. Google pay a lot of people's bills, you should work with it not against it. Peace
History will repeat itself. Many big Corporations in the past have faded and overshadowed by new competitors. When you start seeing Google losing their momentum, be prepared to see another competitor overtaking Google.
Has everyone forgotten the extremely relevant results and years of research Google has put into their SE? I think it's quite ridiculous to state it will fall the same way other businesses have. I think Microsoft and Google are a great analogy. In '99 you could have said "MS IS DIEING!! It will be nowhere in 10 years!". Well It's clear that MS is still leading the way, and even though Linux and Mac fanatics like to say that MS sucks and is a fail business already, the truth is that MS is still on top and not falling. We all know it =/ So, I don't understand why Google "Will be nowhere in 10 years". It's not justification to say that, "hey, this and that business fell, google is sure to fall too. Theres a pattern ... isn't there?" Egh, I dont mean to rant, my appologies, I just mean to say that Google, with its extreme power, relevancy, and wealth, probably isn't going away any time soon. Thanks -Sasha
