How to keep the PR of a domain once you buy it?

    Sorry for the noob question but I'm new to domain flipping and I would really appreciate your input guys.So lets say that I buy a PR 4 domain name that is about to expire how do I keep it PR 4 when its transferred to me should I just upload a blog and put some content on it or you would suggest something else?

    DONT put other content, try to keep the niche constant and try to maintain the backlinks.
    Many webmasters say that the IP address of the host also matter for keeping the PR constant ..

    Maintaining the page rank would be difficult if it is just a domain name and no site or you won't go on adding similar niche content.

    Ok so what if I buy hosting for the domain name and start building a wordpress blog or something will that work?

    If you update the content there might be some fluctuations in PR. Try to offer quality content + quality backlinks at the backend.

    You deffinetly have to get a similar site with similar content within a particular niche up as soon as possible. Also continue to build upon the already existing backlinks.
