Well, I don't know if you call it spamming or cramming, but how can you keep people from uploading duplicates of videos or cramming your video web site with bad or questionable videos, or uploading the same video over and over? Any ideas? thanks.

some solutions i can think of:

    1. Use captcha.

    2. Store IP, filename and filesize of all uploaded videos. Whenever you new video is uploading, if that same IP, filename and filesize already exists in your database, reject the video. This is surely not a complete solution, but can reduce spamming too some extent.

    3. Enable activation of the video only after Site Administrator review. This requires manual work, but best way to keep your site clean.

The best way is to manually filter all videos and have them review ed before approval.

I am considering charging a small fee for the first video uploaded by a user. With the theory that a spammer mindset may not want to pay, therefore it automatically seperates the good from the bad.

I'd be interested in feedback on this idea. Thanks.
