Look less at your Adesense stats if they are so terrible, and focus on adding content to your site(s).
Don't just count on adsense, do affiliate marketing Or find a product to sell on ebay. I do several things to make money. To me adsense is gravy when it pays well, but I am sure adsense is struggling just like the economy is.

Just have a bottle of Jack Daniels handy, and a shot glass, each time you view your Adsense stats. If your stats suck, do a shot of Jack. By the time you check your Adsense stats 20 times, you will be so hammered that the 30 additional times you check your stats that day will not matter. Or maybe you could find a better adsense placement, a better paying niche, or spend some more time promoting the site to get more traffic. Either way Jack Daniels can help you! LOL

I HAVE THE MAGIG FORMULA!! Here it is.......listen close. I don't want anyone to miss this.... You must try until. There are people just like you making a SIGNIFICANT income on adsense. You have to find the formula that works for you. I will admit that it is not as easy now as it was in the past, but if you make Google happy, they will make you happy. You have to make the user happy AND Google happy. You must try UNTIL.

That's just it - don't stop trying - what's the quote "how many people quit when they didn't know they were on the 1 yard line with 1 second to play just away from the winning touchdown." Don't obsess over the ad colors and placement as much as obsessing over making it a good site. (And keep looking for direct and indirect ways to increase the regular traffic.) And LEARN - spend time to learn from these and other forums and from your mistakes and eventually you'll break through!
