    Friends,
DP is my best friend and I earn my bread from here.I know many of you are also like this.At first when I join DP I was surprised abt the Unity,Brotherhood and Trusty in DP !

But this days I found many members are scamming others.I don't know how they can eat there bread from this freshy-blood scammed money ?

So I am making some of my views to get away from Scammers !

    1) Don't do business with small/bad itraders with low posting. If you want then do the business using paypal.

    2) Don't exchange Money Bookers for PayPal with new members

    3) Don't buy Rapidshare accounts for cheap rates with MB or Egold !

Please do add your View and Ideas !

It would be better if there is a special thread at DP with the usernames of Scammers.
Lately i am seeing threads starting that beware of this spammer etc.
So, a sticky thread will work out.

in my opinion, one reputed member at digitalpoint forums should take up the responsibility and make a scammers list and put their dpf user ids /msn/yahoo ids and paypal ids.. and warn ppl to b aware while doing transaction with them.
there are many ppl reporting scams these days. many threads are there. someone just needs to take the main points out of all the threads and make a new thread and may b the MODS can make it a sticky ... :D
hehe, just my idea to make dpf safe :)

Technically speaking the thread is made in wrong section.
But practically this is the best place to post this thread as this is the place almost all scams takes place on DP.

    Yes ive noticed this aswell.

I don't know where all these scammers are coming from selling sites with fake stats, fake pr's and stolen warez scripts, not sending required goods after transaction etc.

    Heres my bit of advice:

    1. If you put something up for sale and someone makes a bid, quickly look and read through the bidders itrader rating history, if you plan on selling something thats worth $xxx amount always do a thorugh search of the bidders history, same goes for Bidders, do a thorugh search of the sellers history. Its sad that it has to go to this point must essential if you dont want to get scammed.

lol, this should be in the Suggestions & Feedback area (technically)

    True that.

    Hope this helps.

If you're selling a VIRTUAL ITEM make sure their payment states it's a virtual item. Or you'll have to supply a tracking number and I don't think UPS, Fedex, or any other shipping companys deliver websites :).

Look at the posts that the person has made.
Lately, scammers post a lot in unrelated chat sections and post short useless message "Nice post! Thank you!". etc. just to boost their post counter. If more than 70% are like that the person is probably not genuine.
