hi, i have few site with PR3 and 4 , and i was at 100 - 400 in between for my top keywords for the past one month in google yahoo msn , but i was not moving from there, i was working on link building, but see no results , any help appreciated Thanks Web Bhanu
Make sure you have your top keywords in the anchor links and also put these keywords in your title and description. Also make sure they are in you page somewhere in the content. If that still doesn't help, I think you are in a very competitive market for your keywords. The only thing you then can do is, get backlinks, backlinks and backlinks with the keywords in the anchor links. Or you might want to choose different keywords that are less competitive. Good luck!
First of all - I must say that mere number of links do not help these days in regards to Google SERP. It is not the number - but quality and relevancy of the link you should concentrate. Secondly, as they say - "Content is the KING". Put as much as informative and unique content using your main keyword. But remember - don't overdo it - as then G might get you for keyword SPAM. Third - I have noticed that, G is again putting substantial importance on Meta Tags - Keyword & Description. So you might want to redo it. Fouth - Use and vary your anchor text wisely and not put the same in each and every link that you acquire. Last but not the least - Have LOADS of patience. It takes time to get results legitly. Once G and other SEs start trusting your site- they will give you permanent SERP LOVE. On the other hand be careful of temporary and short term gains.
what is your niche? I agree with jhnrang, he gave very good advice. you have to be patient and keep doing what you do!
You need too carefully study your competition especially the one on the first 3 pages of SERP. You don't want waste your time to rank for any keyword that would only take years to be at par. Know your competitor and that would help a lot.
These are some great tips. Patience and determination are both necessary to achieve success with your niches.
i was about worried because one of my site is showing a gray PR. that's good to know that does not affect the SERP
