    Just installed xcached on my site today. Take quiet a while to get it but it worth it :)
    What is your OS and Version?

    Now, I have Zend Optimizer + XCache..wondering if they both compatible with Eaccelerator.

    I m not able to understand the steps from (it's two > not one)

    (now edit /etc/php.ini with your favorite editor)
    ~/src/xcache # $EDITOR /etc/php.ini
    (make sure zend_extension=../../xcache.so is the first before any other zend_extension=***)

    Plz help.

    make a php page

    <?php
    echo phpinfo();
    ?>

    Go to that page, find the directory to your php.ini. Usually in usr/local/lib/php.ini..well for me at least.
    then do pico DIR/php.ini and find Zend_extension and edit it :)
