How to install wordpress

    The wordpress install guide is complicated!

    Is there a simple way to install it.

    they say it takes 5 min, but realistically its about 2 min

    or if you have Cpanel, it is even more simple, click on Fantastico, go to wordpress, click install and within 50 seconds you have a working wordpress!

    I really think that if you want to start a website you at least should know a little about the program/software that runs it.

    Try to get a hosting with Fantastico, it has One Click installation for wordpress, that will save you the troubles. But frankly WP is one of the simplest program to install.

    The trick is to have the database name, username, passowrd and hostname ready, usually the hostname is localhost, so all you have to get ready is the database name, username and password, upload the files to server and type in the address of the wordpress site, follow the instructions and you are in business.

    Yeah. And don't forget to rename wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php once you've entered your database information ;)
