The most annoying work at all with the windows is itself the installation, and plus the lovely SATA drivers.
Do you have some step by step info how to do it?
Having U305-S7448 I have tried nlite, but not working.
    Thanks in advance

I have no problems installing windows. As a matter of fact I installed it on 4 seperate computers the other day. Oh and yeah, if your using a pirated disc, then you WILL have problems installing it.

First, you open up your bios and tell it to load from the cd first and set it to load the C Drive last.
Next, put in the cd and you should see a boot menu which will ask you to either load from the hard drive or the cd. Pick cd.
Next, you format the drive from the available options & continue install.

    Hi,

if you are trying to install Win XP to a Laptop with SATA Controller, then just go to the BIOS setup after starting the Laptop and look for the controller settings and select a Compatibility Mode.

I've done it myself! Then you can install XP and and the SATA Drivers and re-enable the SATA Native mode from BIOS.

Just get a bootable windows xp cd (most windows cds are bootable) put the CD in, and restart your computer. Then the installation will start and just follow the simple instructions

This website might help you. It also has the screenshots of different screens that come up during the installation. Windowsreinstall.com
