How to install theme on Joomla

    The tittle says it all, need help to put new theme/template on my self hosted Joomla. Where to put the theme? How to activate? etc.

    I have installed the template with your "How to install and uninstall extensions in Jooomla" tutorial but when I go to templates the template is not there. How to change my default template with the template I just installed.

    Let me know.

    affter you have installed, check Template manager you will see your new template name, and make it as default (default button in right top bar)

    Joomla themes are a bit restrictive. I use ordinary css themes and build the Joomla theme from stratch. You get so much variety that way.
