For those of you who got a new dedicated server and PICO Editor is not there for you to use, I thought I might share some instructions.
I've been looking for them today while configuring my server, and could not get but outdated info on Google. To avoid having to look for missing libraries etc like I did, here you are, 2 simple steps to get it installed via SSH once you're logged in as root:

PICO is a very simple and easy-to-use text editor offering paragraph justification,
cut/paste, and a spelling checker. (Pico is an acronym for PIne COmposer)

Hmm, they are all good, I guess.
But I also think it's down to what people prefer afterall. I tried them all but maybe because I've been taught pine at school, I never bothered switching..
