How To Install osCommerce 3.0 Locally On Windows 7?

We have a client who has requested we use the new osCommerce 3.0 for their online store. The problem we're having is we can't get it to install locally to our Windows 7 computers to fully test and build out the site. Does anyone know if its possible to install osCommerce 3.0 locally on a Windows 7 machine?

What exact error are you getting?

Did you try asking the developers, or on the forums for OSCommerce?

I'd double check with your client to make sure they really know what they want. Many longtime posters in the osCommerce support forum say that v3 is not ready for prime time, i.e., it's not stable. I use 2.2RCA as do most people who use osCommerce. It's primitive, but can do anything you want with some long hours of customization.
