How to install logo in hearder

Hello,
I want to install my own logo in my wordpress blog but I dont have much knowledge of php. and there is no direct option to upload logo file in my current theme. so please suggest me here how can I install logo in header file manually.

There is a logo on your site ! Have you done it ?

 

You have to replace the logo with yours.
find the logo location and replace with your logo.

 

The easiest approach is,

Step 1. (this isn't necessary but you'll get a better result in the end)
go to your theme folder (wp-content/themes/digitalfarm/) via FTP and go inside 'images' and download 'logo.png'. You need to download the file so you can get the exact dimension that your theme is using.

After downloading it, you can now edit it using your favorite editor like Photoshop, Fireworks, Gimp or something similar. After editing save it.

Step 2.
Once your happy with the one you edited or you already have a logo. please make sure that your files is in 'PNG' format and has the same name what your theme is using (logo.png). Then go to your FTP and upload the logo you edited or created inside your theme folder inside image (wp-content/themes/digitalfarm/images/). You'll be prompted that you're overwriting the old file, just say yes if your ok with it.

And that's it, you've replace the old logo.

Try to check the theme. Usually you can easily change the logo by just putting the image URL in the theme admin
