    Ok loaded questions. I'm just trying to convert video to flv on windows with php.

    I've been messing around with different versions of ffmepeg and ffmpeg-php.

    Wamp and eashyphp are installed in their own root folder like so

    C:/wamp/www/
    C:/easyphp/

    I have ffmpeg that i compiled by following this step-by-step guide for building under a MSys+MinGW system.
    http://arrozcru.no-ip.org/ffmpeg_wiki/tiki-index.php

    i downloaded ffmpeg_new.rar from ffmpeg-php sourceforge and moved the dll files to extension folder and codec dll to system32 folder, the extension shows up in wamp but not phpinfo.

    im just not comprehending what files go where. i mean where is ffmpeg and ffmpeg-php suppose to reside?

    should it go on the root, bin or project folder?

    how do i get a simple php script to access and work with ffmpeg?

    could i just use ffmpeg without extension? using a php exec function?

    :confused::confused:
