I'm requesting for help, I actually own a Laptop with Windows Vista already installed. I want to install 3 OS more: Win XP 64 pro, Linux Fedora and MAC Tiger I guess this could start with the steps: Create (running Win Vista) 4 partitions using Acronis software: * Ext3 for linux * double of my RAM for swapping memory for Fedora * NTFS for XP * HFS+ for MAC Restart and go to Acronis menu, installing order: 1º) Linux without lilo or grub (Acronis will be the boot admin) 2º) MAC Tiger 3º) Win XP Any suggestions? Is all this mess ok? One more thing, what OS can read/write in most of filesystems types? Thank you so much
I doubt that Vista will let you install XP on the same machine... And how can you install Mac on a PC?
You need to partition your hard drive and then you can install XP and linux. You will also need to make a boot partition where you can choose your OS to run on startup. I dont think you can install Tiger on a PC but XP is fine. Another option is to use Wubi Linux which operates virtually in the Vista environment.
Using Acronis Director 10 you can do everything as I told you, and of course you can install Tiger in a PC since last versions.... I'm still confused...
Ummm.. I think you are mistaking something... Yes Tiger runs on Intel chips but not on PC.. Intel is making chips of Powermac Computers.. and Tiger supports that. I have never come across any source that states that one can run Tiger on PC...
