How to insert the google analytics code in wordpress blog?

    I have created a new blog at wordpress.com. How to insert Google Analytic code in wordpress. Is this possible to insert Google Analytic code in wordpress.

    Go to Appearance>>Editor in that click on 'header.php' file
    after opening that file search for </head> and paste your
    Analytics code before </head>

    There's a part there where you can input the code without going to the Editor menu. It only depends on the Theme you're using. Just check your theme's layout and you'll see. For example, when you're using Socrates, its on the Socrates menu-Layout, then you'll see a box there where you can put the code. Hope it will help. :)

    apart from this method you can also check for the plug-ins available to integrate Google analytics in your WordPress blog

    Not all theme's support Analytics's code, but as long as it goes between your <head></head> tags it should work.
