    has anyone been able to do it? i attempted

    {php}
    php code
    {/php}

    it seems that phplinkbid does not recognize {/php}

    in the meantime i had to stick it into footer.php to work but id rather have it in a template.

    can this be done!?!?

    thanks

    Its not possible to use php code in a template. Its not like phpLD with the {smarty} tags. I wouldnt bother with TLA on a bid directory. If people wanted text links there they would bid for a link, IMO.

    It should probably work in the templates I think, I haven't actually tried. The .tpl files support .php codes.

    Really why will you want TLA to be on your bidding directory ? that will just not work (I don't think it is a good idea), If some one wants to bid & place a permanent link on your site.

    yes that works but its totally sloppy.

    And why not add ads in the bidding directory? its more exposure.

    like mentioned before, why would people pay x amount each month with TLA, when they could visit your site, bid for a link, get it in a category of their choice and with their own detail page aswell...
