How to insert a logo into site tab?

    I still learning the ropes on PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS etc. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what file I have to rewrite or what needs to be done to add a pic in the top tab area because my sites show a Blank white paper... No Logo is going up there for each page.

    that would be a favicon.

    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />
    Code (markup):
    where favicon.ico is the icon file you want to display.

    u can create it it online http://www.favicon.cc/ and put in to ur site like this
