How to Index the Images in Search Engines?

Robots file is used to tell the search engine that the particular file or images must crawl by the search engine crawler so to index your image you need to put correct name and title tag for your image.

If you give this all in a proper way then sure your image will index.

 

Robots.txt file just tells the search engine what to crawl and what to not. It is not an indexing directive. For indexing your images, make their pixel quality good, give them proper title, a related file name and an alt attribute. Also try to make sure that your images are not violating the copyrights act: they should be new stuff, not somebody else's.

Follow these step to index your image

1. Put alt tag and title tag on image like [alt="This is my Image", title="My Image"]- this the sample for alt tag and title

2. Use robot.txt for indexing
User-agent: *
Allow: /images/

You are Right if you want to index your image in search engine you enable image at your Robot.txt file.

This is only way to index your site in Search engine.

 

Do some bookmarking of your image url.
