Share your sites in reditt, digg and some other popular bookmarking sites, submit site map to webmaster tools, submit the page to search engines. These steps helps you in indexing your page soon.

It will usually take over a week. Don't expect your website to get indexed right away. While waiting for it to be indexed, I suggest that you do SEO so that when the time comes when Google will already index your website, it is highly optimized and thus, it can rank high on the keywords that you want it to rank high on.

Indexing a website usually takes less than 24h if you know how to do it correctly.

You could just build some links, ping them, and it should get indexed.
These links could be social bookmarks, which are easy to create. Once you create some social bookmarks, ping them and your website should get indexed pretty fast.

Submit your page to google http://www.google.com/addurl/ Share it on social bookmarking websites like digg, oyax and reddit. Google very often caches new pages in less then an hour

Usually my websites are indexed in less than 24h in this way : I install wordpress, I configure properly, I add some posts and install a sitemap plugin, I add website in webmaster tools . In general sitemap plugins send pings to search engines.

Through my personal experience I have actually found that submitting my site to the Google adurl feature makes the site take longer to get crawled and cached by Google.

I really liked Marshal's answer. I think submitting your site to social bookmarking sites and services is the best way to get it crawled faster. When you submit your site to the Google adurl you are basically putting it on a list. It will get crawled but how Google determines the crawling priority of the sites on that list is unbeknownest to me.

When Google finds your site naturally through social media and quality links from other sites I also believe it gives you a higher initial search engine ranking.

Don't force anything, be patient. After submit your url, go to webmaster tools validate your domain ownership and submit your sitemap, rss and wait.

If you want your site to be indexed quickly by Google, put it in your signature on big forums like this one or in comments on sites with big traffic. Google inde these sites few times per day so your sites will be too

There's no guarantee when the site gets indexed maybe a day or week or longer. But why to panic??? You'll get indexed eventually so just wait. It will be foolish to pay for getting indexed in Google remember getting indexed does not mean that you rank high. As far as indexing is concerned try these -

    1. Do the manual submission
    www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

    2. Submit through Google's webmaster tools.
    www.google.com/webmasters/tool

    3. Get backlinks to your site.

and just wait even if takes more than a week (however you'll get indexed in a week).

I index my site in a cool way. first write and post articles at least couple of or may be more at a time one by one. do not add your site to google. use ping services. can take help of cb net ping optimizer and collect as many pinging sites as you can and add them in specified field. restrict excessive pinging. bookmark articles in stumble upon, delicious and reddit. and finally post one article in ezine or hub or squidoo. you will see your site indexed with in 7 days or may be lot earlier than that. google will automatically index your site. next go and verify before you submit sitemap in google webmasters. you can also use google xml sitemap plugin throughout this process.

i've actually seen a way of getting your website indexed quickly, within minutes. i'm not exactly sure of the details. but i'm pretty sure if you make a twitter for your website, your website could be indexed by google within hours, if not minutes.
