    if you want to index your site and pages fast then register your website on webmaster tool and go to crawler access custom setting and do fast crawler rate.

    If your website is new then you should submit it to the search engines and then submit the website rss to the rss feed directories. RSS submission helps to crawl a website faster.

    Some social bookmarks can often be the quickest way to get a *single page* indexed fast if you need immediate attention from Google. For a broader range of pages I would apply all possible methods at once :)
