Targeted keywords in the title - and use the important keywords first. Instead of saying "this is a video about a kitten". Say something like - "Kitten video" Keep titles short, to the point and keywords first. Video description - The first couple of words in the first and second sentence of video description should be targeted keywords. After the first or second sentence, then you can go back to writing normal with fewer keywords. At the end of the video description, insert a bunch of keywords. These do not have to be in a sentence. What I usually do is copy the tags and paste them into the last lines of the description. Tags - targeted keywords. When your finished, the title, description and tags should all contain keywords that target an certain audience. Preview images - Youtube uses the middle of the video for its preview image. So take that into consideration. If the video is 4:00 minutes long. The scene at 2:00 will be the preview. Sometimes you can "cheat" a little to get a good preview image. I have been posting videos on youtube for 2 years. And in that time I have posted over 320 videos. Some of them were really bad, some were good. But I would like to think that the quality is improving. The title of the video is one of the most important. When you title the video, think about what people might be looking for. What search terms might people use to find your video.
