Use it to broadcast but not spam, give value, be the go to person for your industry, and make friends.

You will also want to space out your tweets so schedule some ahead of time due to the different time zones people are in - so you can repeat some messages but do not do that too often

 

What is the purpose of doing things to increase your Twitter followers count? Who cares? What's the point? Why the effort? How do you benefit by doing something like this. Forgive my ignorance. I'm n00b

It is quite relevant actually. You see, ppl would like to follow someone with higher credentials, with a higher count of followers, you convince them better to follow you.

 

Twitter followers must be at least close or have the same interests with you. Those who will retweet you.

 

Don't forget to join #teamfollowback or #instantfollow. Just send a message to those hash tags and you'll get followers

Auto-tweeting, constant spam and tweeting too much is going to get you blocked by everyone apart from the people who are doing the exactly same thing.

tried tweinds.. but it has its own scoring and wont approve your request till they feel that my account is good enough..

 

The good side about Twiends is that it increases very fast, however, for twitter, the drop rate is as fast. another thing is the twust feature, whereby they only approve ppl with good profiles.
