How to increase your pr or get a good one??

Hello guys.

I have a forum.Its new,so it doesnt have a pr yet.I wanted to know when google next updates the pr and how can i get a good pr?

If high PR web page link to you, you will get high PR as well.
PR update done this November and next time may be januray next year

 

I agree with Adulu that you need to sit until next year around January.

suggest you put your site links as your signature or at my signature links

 

Go to blogs about your niche and ask to do link exchanges

 

You need to get one way relevant links to your website. The more PR the page that links to you has, the better! And don't expect the toolbar PR to be updated any time sooner, it took about 4 months for the last one.

 

Next update should be around early next year, you can't just be there waiting, do link exchange, do Forum Posting with your sig, Directory submissions and links with high pr relevant to yours to link with you.

Next PR update will be in JAnuary. Here's what you can do:
1) Sit back, write as much as you can on your website (only qualitative writing).
2) Exchange links from the blogs/websites from your own niche.
3) Submit your website on free online directories. (eg. dmoz etc)
4) Register to Digg or stumbleupon to mark your online existence.

Google updates internal PR on a daily basis and improving your link profile will increase your traffic and traffic is what it is all about.

 

Forget PR, think SERPS ,The better u perform in the SE's with ur KW's more would be ur visitors, and u can capitalize using Adsense possibly.. lol or.. by anything..afterall being on top DOES matters then having a PR-6 and no traffic

Again.. My own Copy Paste job.. keep on adding points to it..there are lots more u can think of and do..still some are here for traffic..

1. Enhance the content

2. Get quality relevant backlinks from trusted domains (one-ways are better)

3. Check out for the pages that get crawled very fast, and you can use them as your weapon by establishing your USP on that page as it has more chances to come up in ranks then other pages*

4. While working with links, dont opt in for quantity, although upto some extent quantity can help, but then boost comes from quality.

5. You can run a lil affiliate program and actually can lend out incentives to people..

6. Approach in for some news feeds and highlight the latest upcomings on the products of your industry.

7. Make sure that you dont only optimize homepage, but the inner pages as well that are bound to get more traffic.

8. Submit some interesting press releases and do some blogging as well ( industry relevant)

9. talk to a brand ( in case you have a franchise/agency) and infact promoting a top brand can actually boost your traffic.

10. try out a lil offline marketing as well, for example telemarketing, advertisements (particularly of your portals).

11. Throw out some promotional offers and free samples(industry relevant) to your potential customers and see them coming back to you( conditions apply - depends on quality of your product)

12. Conduct certain Interviews of the people established (industry relevant) and publish that on your website.. yea thats hot these days as far as traffic is concerned.
