    :)Ha,ha.

Look, you are here! This is just a test to see if it work!

How you can attract 10X people to read your copy? Write a headline arose their interest!

Money, property, life safety, health, and feeling are main concerns to people. You want to attract them to read your copy, you have to deliver in your headline that they really care about! Such as:

How My 100-Year-Old Grandfather Keep Healthy By XXXX

I Build My Muscles Like Arnold Schwarzenegger In 3 Months By XXX

    :D
Just make sure your headline bear something that your targeted customers care about. Tell them they could have something or lose it if they don't read your copy. Haha

Having worked in mainstream news for over 30 years now I can attest that a snappy headline can be all the difference in the world to the success or decline of an article.

However, one's headline should be truthful to the context of the content or you risk a breach of integrity.

Attracting a surfer is one thing, conversion and retention is better.

Thanks for the post it hits the nail right on the head.

I also think that a catchy headline (that still makes sense) is a definite plus when making sales pitches or attracting people to a certain website. It's important to use keywords that are sensible as opposed to "fooling" customers by using fake ones.

Yes, I read this because you have a catchy title. However, when writing a title, it should also reflect on the content. Of course, with the right title, it is a way to attract huge readership.

Thank you for this point. I also attach importance to coherency in copy and headlines! Attracting attention is one thing, conversion is another.

You need to convey information in your copy that has been told in the headline!

People read your copy, because they think you can provide something that you have announced in the headline!:)

BTW, I also want to emphasize the importance of believability. Do not over-exaggerate the benefits of your offer in the headline.
It will make readers think it is too good to be ture!

Most people only know how to write headlines they copy or change a bit from others. What some people think is 'catchy' is no more than borrowed interest. What I mean is that the headline has to be in line with a strategy or goal and has to be relevant.

Too true--in the rush to get clicks, plenty of people forget that headlines should be written for humans to read, not just Google. That said, I find that stacking your most powerful keywords at the front of the headline is best for Google and you can still--if you have a smidgen of skill--write a headline that won't make your reader cringe.

I think you could just have demonstrated how to get a bounce. The snappiest title in the world will do you no favours if it doesn't reflect the content - and if that content isn't well written.

Absolutely. It's one thing to get people to see a page. It's another thing to get people to see the page and then keep them on the site and convert them.

However, nowadays most of headlines are written more for SEO, not for people.

This is part of the problem, surely. While SEO is important, the reader is more important. People fail to realize that SEO isn't going to make them any money. It's the people that reach their websites and salespages because of that SEO that will make all the difference. A combination of SEO and reader appeal within the headline is necessary for complete success.
