How to increase wifi through rate

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my wifi connection. Whenever the throughput rate is increasing, my net is fine but there is no such throughput rate my net will be stuck. Could anyone of you could give me some tutorial to make sure that this throughput is constantly increasing and moving.
