    As i heard that after penguine update there is no benifit of doing submission work I mean social bookmarking, directory submission so only the thing remaining is article sharing and SMO, which is i think effective to increase brand value along with high search engine rankings.

    focus on content,remember always content is king.If you are content is king the visitors come to your blog often and check for updated.try to update blog at least 3-4 times per week.Next try to do link exchange with niche relevant blogs and do some off-page seo.
