Suppose you target to optimize your website for the keyword : "CHEAP SEO" and your web address is abc.com
Then you insert your link onto "CHEAP SEO" and place the same in relevant forums and blogs. "CHEAP SEO" is known as anchor text and your link is known as Backlink. And the process is obviously "Backlinking"
