    Twitter is great for celebrities - normal people or even people specializing in something that's not related to entertainment and politics it seems (like programmers, engineers, doctors, etc.) have little chances of getting a lot of followers, unless they're Jesus :). So I just say, register on Twiends and other similar sites, and you can have 1-3 thousand or more followers for about $50-100, and most of them will not unfollow you, which is great...

    As per my opinion it is much easy to get more follower on twitter than getting friends on Facebook. But one thing sholud kept in mind that getting relevant follower is also important. It will give genuine traffic to your site as well as if you have product based site then it can also give you sales. So use twitter well to get real benefits of it.
