How to increase traffic to Article site

I have a financial related article site. I don't know how to increase traffic to the site. I know of
1. Submit to directories--
Question: Should I submit to general directories or to financial directories

2. Submit article--I just got one article approved yesterday at ezine. I have submitted to only 4 article sites.
Question: Should I submit the same articles without putting the articles on my site (there would be a link to my site). Or should I submit different articles with the articles on my site

3. Social bookmarking----I have done none only getting like 5 stumbles on the site.


Is there any suggestion I can do.

For me, the most important thing so as your website can drive more traffic and you know entice more visitors to come in to your site is to have a good content. The content of your article must be concise, direct yet informative and most of all, it must be relevant to your domain name or to your website. That's all! Keep on changing and posting latest updates about the content of your website. You think of something, "What are the needs or possible queries of your targeted market?", as if you put yourself in to their shoe. From there, you would even realize how important your article is and it's content.
