How to increase traffic to a football site

    Hello,
    I have recently setup a new football transfer website called goalormiss.com. This allow people to place football rumours on the site, and then people can vote on what they think of it.
    We are currently doing usual SEO, with increasing links etc, does anyone else have any ideas on how to get more people to the site, any incentives maybe, since the site is new?

    Appreciate any help :)

    Get involved in football related forums and blogs. Do NOT do ppc advertising because you don't have a good way to monetize the traffic.

    Get some one to put in original content. Football rumours is a huge market. Given that you post a couple of unique posts a day, coupled with SEO, you'll get a lot of people through search engines.
