How to increase traffic on my new site

I recently created an ecommerce site and would like feedback on how to increase traffic to it. It sells high end headphones from name brands like dr. dre beats and such.I created a facebook page, linked my twitter, and started a blog attached to the site. How do I hit the ground running and start creating interest on this newly created site. I don't know if I can post the site here, if the mods allow I will. Anyway back to the question, what are some great ways to generate traffic for an ecommerce site?

 

Do social media marketing, email marketing, forum posting and offpage seo for boost up traffic for your site.

 

Do social marketing, post your links to blogs and high PR websites. Spread your website through internet marketing.

 

Social platforms such as facebook, twitter, pinterest, linkedin are indispensable in promoting E-commerce websites. Consider buying some likes/followers for facebook page/twitter profile to get the snowball rolling.

what about the following:

1. google adsense, pay google for certain keyword clicks
2. hiring someone to create backlinks to my site?
3. Hiring an SEO service

I need to achieve a profit and keep costs low, what sort of marketing/seo is best for an ecommerce site? My main goal is to attract organic traffic, I don't care if I get 1,000/day page views or 75 views/day if I make the sale, its money in my pocket. How can I attract quality traffic?

i think google adword is very good something , you can try .

 

Forums is really all you need. Just be sure to be helpful

 

Keep building quality links.Do some seo stuff.

 

Starting blog is good.Now you can write custom content on your targeted keywords, thus increasing traffic to your site.You can go for Press release,article submission,directory submission,submit your best articles to social networking sites like Digg, StumbleUpon,Technorati etc.

 

Increase your quality back links through directory submission, article submission, forum posting and blog posting. Do on page work and create your account facebook, twitter, linkedin, myspace and digg.
