Hi all, I have two blogs namely: http://herbalist-herbguide.blogspot.com http://paternitytesting.wordpress.com I think I am writing pretty well for both the blogs and do all blog promotion techniques (Blog Submissions, RSS Submissions, Comments on other's blogs etc. etc.) still I am not getting good traffic in return. Please advice what should I do more to increase the traffic of my blogs?
Your both blog seems have very narrow niche audience, I would suggest to promote through health/ science/ medical research forums.
I'd figure out what search terms you are trying to get attention from and be sure you are targeting the right keywords, especially in your headings and subheadings. You should also think about using tags for your niche and social bookmarking with the right tags to get the visitors you're after. Good luck

Why dont you try indexing them using ells Quit Indexing tool http://www.bluehatseo.com/quit-quick-indexing-tool/ then try pinging them? And of course link building will have a major factor to increasing traffic....Submit your site to as many directories and websites as possible! Hope this helps.

I prefer an organic traffic resulted from a proper on-page optimization. Social bookmarking is one of the good source of traffic when it comes to referring sites
Well traffic maybe the issue but you get more traffic by having more and more of your pages indexed as well. As far as traffic, I'd suggest finding other blogs in your nitche, leaving valuable comments on posts made linking back to your blog, writing lots of content consistently so search engines keep coming back, Join mybloglog and start adding everyone and leaving comments on thier pages with your blog, Get tons of backlinks and pray.
yes i agree that one of the major solution is link building, join forums and forums that related to your field.. pinging your blog, social bookmarking (stumble gives huge traffic or any popular sb)
Don't forget viral marketing. Write a few articles on the topics of your blogs and add a link to your blog in the resource box when you submit them to article directories. You can get hundreds of one way links that way.
What you should be doing is making quality comments on other blogs. One of the things often forgotten is trust. When people see you as an authority, they will trust you more. Comments are one of the best techniques IMHO.
Blog commenting is also one of the best methods to improve back links. Though you are perfect in writing the comment and selecting the keywords you might sometime miss the most rel avant site. If you do follow this rule strictly and still in vein then you should select the blogs that have good rank for them them your doors will open to see the results.
